Questions and answers will be e-mailed to all bidders. Recreation starts fitness classes The Tribe's Recreation Program offers two exercise programs in the Tribal gym. Vinyasa Flow Yoga, led by Melisa Chandler, is of fered from noon to 1 p.m. Monday and Friday. The class focuses on the synchronization of breath with postures and is an active, athletic form of yoga. A cross training-style fitness class, led by Recreation Coordinator Matt Mosley, is offered from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. Monday. At least until this year. Budgeting and staffing issues at the Housing Authority along with personal health concerns for Kroeker sidelined the popular Easter event. Kroeker said it takes almost 50 staff hours to put the event to gether. "We usually put out about 2,000 eggs," she said. "One hundred fifty to 200 kids usually show up." Tribal Council member Steve Bobb Sr. has been the Easter Bunny in recent years. "We'll let him take a break this year," said Kroeker. Tribal Social Services Manager Dave Fullerton also has served time in the bunny ears. But all is not lost for community youth. On Saturday, March 30, the Sher idan Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Easter egg hunt in the city park, said outgoing Cham ber President Sue Adamson. "It starts at 9 a.m.," said Adam son, "but don't be late, because by 9:05, it'll all be over. Last year, some families showed up at 9:02 and the eggs were already gone." Also at 9 a.m. Saturday in Wil lamina, the high school Honor Society and Future Farmers of America program are sponsoring a hunt at the old Willamina High School's Glenn Larkins Field, says Ariah Fasana, who leads the Honor Society and coordinates the annual Easter egg hunt. "We try to have 800 plus eggs and four groups: 4 and under, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-12 years old. Most eggs are filled with candy. Others have prize certificates to redeem for small gifts. I would guess we have about 80 to 100 usually attend the event. We generally have Ray's (grocery store) donate the candy and this year H&R Block is going to donate some eggs and prizes as well."
