Medicare Part B reimbursement notice
If you are a Grand lionde Tribal member, have reached the age of retirement
(65) or have Htarted to receive Social Security Retirement or disability benefits
through Social Security (SSI)), you may be eligible to receive Medicare Part B
benefits through the Tribe. To find out if you are eligible, or to get enrolled in
Medicare Tart H, please do the following: call toll-free 1-800-MEDICARK (1-800-633-4227)
or go online at www.medicare.gov. You will need to request an
application for enrollment in Medicare I 'art B and return it to your local Social
Security Office. Once you are enrolled in Medicare I'art B through Social Secu
rity, you will niH.fl to call our office to request a Medicare I'art B lieimbursement
packet to apply. As a Grand Kondc Tribal member, the Tribe will reimburse
your Medicare I'art B premium each month at the standard rate.
Note: If you are currently on the Skookum Tribal Health Plan it is re
quired that you accept Medicare I'art li when you become eligible. Iiy not
accepting Medicare I'art II, your coverage for medical expenses could be
drastically reduced.

General hiring guidelines:
All applicants must meet the following basic requirements in order
to apply.
Must be 21 years of age or older to work armed.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must have a valid state driver's license or be able to obtain one
within 30 days of employment.
Must not have any misdemeanor or felony convictions.
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Must have reliable transportation.
We prefer to hire currently certified security officers. However, we
can provide the necessary DPSST training.
Prospective Security Officers must submit a standard application
packet and resume in order to be considered for employment. Ap
plication packet can be obtained at the Tribal Security office located
at modular 1 (formerly Social Services Department) or downloaded
from our Web site at advancedsecurityinc.com.

Youth Education Mural Project & Consultant
Artist submission deadline July 25, 2012
The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Tribe is implementing a two
year ANA SEDS Grant project which includes a Youth Mural project
funding not to exceed $5,000. The Confederated Tribes of Grand Rond
Youth Education Program is inviting artists to apply to participate in
a Public Mural project to enhance the program's new Youth Education
Expansion and promote a healthy, drug-free youth facility.
The Mural Project is intended to enhance the aesthetics of the Youth
Education Facility, to reflect the pride in community, history and the cul
ture of the Grand Ronde people and to promote positive living throughout
the community. When designing your artwork, consider its contribution
to the community as a whole. Successful proposals will promote goodwill
and become a source of community pride by encouraging youth to lead
healthy lifestyles.
Mural requirements
Mural will require the ability to be mounted to the existing exterior
wall as opposed to being painted directly on to the wall.
Project Dimensions
The proposed area of area for the mural installation is an exterior
covered area on the South Wall of the Youth Education Facility, roughly
9ft high X 30ft long (measurements to not reflect the size requirements
of the mural, but must be confined within this space)
The selected artist will be invited to one or more informational ses
sions for an opportunity to meet with staffstudents, explore resources,
collaborate, in order to make the project a successful one.
Artists may submit more than one proposal and will be juried
on the following criteria:
Concept description and creative vision (50 points)
Feasibility of project completion (15 points)
Quality of prior work (25 points)
Native Preference (5 points)
Appropriateness of work to location (5 points)
Timeline
July 25, 2012: Submissions due
July 30, 2012: Artists notified
Aug. 3, 2012: Informational session with selected artist
Sept. 25, 2012: Project completion
Selection Committee
The Program staff and students will serve as the Selection Committee.
