Smoke Signals 19 JUNE 15, 2012 Have you received your GED, high school diploma, college certificate, apprenticeship or college degree or will between June 2011 and June 2012? If so, please call 503-879-2275 to be sure you are recognized at the CTGR Education Division Graduation Ceremony that will be held June 22 at the Tribal Gym. Also, please provide proof of completion -and a picture if you haven't already. Applications now being accepted Grand Ronde Head Start (0-5)Preschool is now accepting applications for children ages 0-5 years old and expectant mothers for the 2012-13 school year. Completed applications must be received no later than June 29 at 3 p.m. Selection will take place July 12, 2012. Please contact Sandy Bobb at 503-879-2161 or e-mail at sandra.bobb grandronde.org for an application. SiammeD Cured oft Recovery rettM irons Summer Credit Recovery will be back this summer. If you are a Tribal, descendant or Native high school student who failed a class this school year, then you will be eligible for our program. We will be starting on June 18 and it will run to Aug. 10. The hours for the credit recovery lab will be 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. All other hours will need to be by appointment. Examples of classes offered through the Odesseyware program are Algebra 1, Geometry, Physical Science, U.S. History and English 1. Qualifying students in the Willamina and Sheridan school districts will be eligible, though students from outside the area may be eligible with a letter of commitment from their schools. Cost for the program will be a $50 deposit, which is fully refundable upon completion of the program.
