The deadline for the Full-Time College program is at least 30 days before the start of classes. The deadline for the Part-Time College program is at least 10 days before the start of class. The Tribal Library is sponsoring a "Get Caught Read ing Photo Contest" during May. Submit photos of someone you caught reading at the library by 4 p.m. Thursday, May 24. Win ners will be announced May 25. (4-by-6 and 5-by-7 inch photos only.) Judging Criteria: 1. Compliance with the theme: "Get Caught Reading." 2. Emotional Impact: How the photo "gets you in the gut" as it relates to the theme. i.e. The photo tells a powerful story. 3. Artistry: Composition, color, light, absence of distraction, use of picture space. i.e. Enhances the subjecttopic, void of background clutter, body parts intact, frame is filled without overflow. 4. Technical: Sharpness, controlled details, print quality, texture and depth, symmetry, i.e. Focus on the subject and in compli ance with the theme. Donations: We appreciate the following people for their con tributions to the library collection during this reporting period: Paula Wilkinson, Susan Russie and Veronica Gaston. Donated items have been cataloged and are shelved for circulation. Thank you everyone for some great additions to the collection. Summer Programs: The Tribal Library Summer Theme Program and the Reading Incentive Program will begin June 18 and end July 31. Registration for Reading Incentive will open on June 6 at the Education Summer Kick-off BBQ. This year's theme is "Dream Bigyourlibrary." New Items to the Collection .
