And a change in medication can sometimes threaten it. A case in point is Tribal member and Tribal Lands Manager Jan Michael Reibach, who was diagnosed with a hereditary case of Protein En zyme C Deficiency in 1994. See REIBACH continued on page 10 I I r : 1 Nora Kimsey Dec. 2, 1908- Sept. 7, 2011 Tribal Elder Nora Kimsey, 102, walked on peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011. Kimsey was the Tribe's eldest Elder and was an important part of the Grand Ronde community during the Tribe's quest for Restoration in the early 1980s. At tha request of her family a feature story about her life will appear in the Oct. 1 issue of Smoke Signals instead of today's edition. Her funeral service was held Monday, Sept. 12, in the Tribal gymnasium and interment occurred in the Tribal cem etery. B
