The Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority (GRTHA) invites in
terested companies to propose Design and Construction Services to
install photovoltaic array system for the GRTHA Elder Housing Phase
II Project ("Project"). RFPQ documents are available by contacting
Dave J. Reece, P.E., Reece & Associates, Project Manager via e-mail
at daver-aengineering.com.
To provide housing for its Elders, the Confederated Tribes of Grand
Ronde proposes to expand its Elder Housing complex. Conceptual plans
for the Elder Housing Phase II complex include a photovoltaic array
system for the 23 senior affordable dwelling units.
Through this solicitation process, GRTHA is seeking to retain the
services of a qualified photovoltaic installation company to provide
Design and Construction Services. This work will be coordinated
with design and construction of the dwelling units, all site improve
ments and landscaping, which will be implemented under a separate
contract.
Mr. David Reece of Reece & Associates Inc. is acting as GRTHA's
Project Manager, representing GRTHA's interests on the above-mentioned
Project. All questions regarding this RFP must be directed to
Mr. Dave Reece via e-mail to daver-aengineering.com. All questions
must be submitted no later than seven (7) days prior to date of pro
posal delivery.
Copies of the RFP documents may be obtained from Reece & As
sociates, Inc. at 321 1st Avenue E, Suite 3A, Albany, OR 97321 upon
receipt of a non-refundable check in the amount of $10 made payable
to Reece & Associates, Inc. Electronic copies of the RFP documents

Respondents shall provide a written proposal by 3 p.m. Aug. 29,
201 1, to Carina Kistler, Executive Director, at 28450 Tyee Road, Grand
Ronde, OR 97347. Proposals may be submitted electronically via e
mail to carina.kistlergrandronde.org with hard copies to follow no
later than 24 hour of due date. Respondents are responsible to ensure
receipt of electronic submission by the specified due date.
Specific information regarding document submittal procedures and
due dates will be found in the RFP. A recommended pre-proposal
walk-through meeting will take place at the Grand Ronde Tribal
Housing Authority Building at 10 a.m. local time on Monday, Aug.

interested CMGC companies to propose Pre-construction and Construc
tion Management General Construction Services for the GRTHA Elder
Housing Phase II Project ("Project"). RFPQ documents and Schematic

the program needs to be finalized, conceptual plans show the Elder
Housing Phase II complex would consist of 23 senior affordable dwell
ing units contained in eleven (1 1) buildings with a mix of two and three
bedroom units. The structures will be one-story and the capacity of
the complex would be suitable to house over 40 resident tenants. The
proposed action would also include attached parking garages, adjacent
parking areas, walking paths and a solar energy array system.
Through this solicitation process, GRTHA is seeking to retain the
services of a qualified CMGC company to provide Pre-Construction
and Construction ManagementGeneral Construction Services for
civil site improvements throughout as well as building construction.
The project will encompass the dwelling units and construction of
the complete infrastructure for all site improvements such as roads,
sidewalks, walking paths, parking areas and all utilities as well as
landscaping. In addition coordinate with the construction of new solar
array system to serve the dwelling units, which will beimplemented
under a separate contract.

REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority (GRTHA) is solicit
ing for bids by 3 p.m. Aug. 31, 2011, from contractors to perform
exterior painting for GTRHA-owned housing in Grand Ronde.
All contractors are required to meet Tribal Prevailing Wage.
Bids for services need to include preparation for painting.
