Smoke Signals 15 FEBRUARY 15,2011 CTGR Competitive Scholarships Applications are now available for 2011 CTGR Competitive Scholarships. Applicants must be enrolled members of the Confed erated Tribes of Grand Ronde. To apply online, please visit www. grandronde.orgtemplate.aspx?id4172. Please call Education if you are unable to apply online at 1-800-422-0232, ext. 1345. The early bird deadline is April 1, and the final deadline is April 30. Applications received by April 1 will receive one additional point to the total score. Computer Workshop Classes in Grand Ronde March 8, 2011 Intermediate Microsoft Word 2007 The workshops will be taught by the Northwest Computer Learning Center and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the computer lab in the Adult Education Building. Cost for the workshop is $150 and eligible Tribal members can apply to the Noncredit Program for assistance with registration costs. Space is limited to the first 15 who register. OSAC administers more than 400 scholarships through their single application for Oregon students. The application deadline is Feb. 25. Please visit the Financial Aid tab on your mychemeketa page to apply. New students need to register with Chemeketa before they can apply. BPA Regional Tribal scholarship The Bonneville Power Administration is accepting applications for their 201 1 Regional Tribal Scholarships. Applicants must be a full-time student at an accredited university, college, technical school or graduate school during the 2011-2012 academic year; have a minimum 2.5 CPA; be an enrolled member of a federally recognized Tribe located within the BPA service region and major in a field related to careers at BPA.
