A meeting for Tribal members and their caregivers, other caregivers and
staff who work with Elders will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb.
27, at Spirit Mountain Casino's Rogue River B room.
Registration will begin at 10 a.m. and subjects will include Memory
LossAlzheimer's, Caregiver Burnout, Power Tools for Caregivers, the
new Shasta Health Plan, Contract Health Service, Advanced Directive
and Personal Sharing.

nate your parental rights to the above-name child for the purpose of
placing the child for adoption.

Court, which is located at 9615 Grand Ronde Road, Grand Ronde, Or
egon 97347, on Friday, the 20th day of March, 2009 at 1:30 p.m., to
admit or deny the allegations of the petition. IF YOU DO NOT APPEAR
PERSONALLY BEFORE THE COURT, the court may proceed in your
absence without further notice and TERMINATE YOUR PARENTAL
RIGHTS to the above-named child either ON THE DATE SPECIFIED
IN THIS SUMMONS OR ON A FUTURE DATE and may make such
orders and take such action as otherwise authorized by law.
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS: You have the right to be represented
by an attorney in this matter. If you cannot afford to hire an attorney,
and you meet the Tribe's indigent defense guidelines, an attorney may be
appointed for you at the Tribe's expense. To request appointment of an
attorney to represent you at the Tribe's expense, you must immediately

possess a Tribal Hunting license, and you must be able to legally
possess a firearm. All Ceremonial Hunting will be conducted under
the State hunting regulations and require the hunter to follow all
laws and regulations, and use the highest ethical standards.

member qualifies for
national wrestling tournament

Sixth-grade Tribal member Mat
thew Hofenbredl, 12, is headed for
the USA Wrestling Middle School
Dual National Championships in
Danville, 111., on March 27-29 ... if
he can raise $950 for transportation,
lodging and fees.
He'll be one of three students from
Dallas Middle School to go to the
event during spring break.
"He's been wrestling since he was 5
years old," said his proud grandmoth
er, Tribal Elder Priscilla Hofenbredl.
"He's wrestled pretty much all over,
most of the schools around. He has
a whole bunch of medals. Ever since
he started wrestling, he's got nothing
less than a fourth. Most of the time
he was first."
"He loves wrestling," said his father,
Tribal member Leland Hofenbredl.
"It's one of his main sports. That's what
he looks forward to every year."
During wrestling season, Matthew
practices with the middle school team
five days a week. Sometimes, he goes
over to the high school to practice with
the high school team, Leland said. Af-

ter the season ends, he works out with
the Dallas Mat Club twice a week.
"We go to tournaments every Sat
urday, too," Leland said.
Matthew wrestles in the 75-pound
class. He also plays football and base
ball, and enjoys fishing and riding his
motorcycle, Leland said.
