In the September 15, 2006 issue of Smoke Signals we stated in the
"Fort Yamhill Park Dedicated" story that Round Valley Construc
tion was a Tribal member-owned construction firm. Although it
is Tribally-owned, it in fact is not owned by a Tribal member. We
regret the error.
NOTICE TO AMEND THE CHOICES OF TAX WITHHOLD
ING PERCENTAGES ON 2006 PER CAPITA PAYMENTS
During the week of October 1 6, 2006 a Request for Federal Income Tax
Withholding from Per Capita Payment was mailed to Tribal members 18
and older, and gave one choice of 28. We have amended the tax withhold
ing percentage choices to the following: 28, 25, 15 and 10. Either
modify the request form sent to you by writing in your choice of 25), 15,
10 or fill out the modified form below and return to the Tribe.
