Dear Smoke Signals, We would like to express our deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to our circle of family and friends during our great loss of a son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, nephew, cousin and a great friend. Always and forever grateful, The family of Buddy J. Haskins, Jr. In the October 1, 2006 issue of Smoke Signals, we misnamed Sammy Johnson in the "Tribe Pays Tribute To White Wolf story. We called him Tahoma Aleck. Smoke Signals misspelled the last name of Dennis Worden, the Community Fund's 2006-07 Hatfield Fellow, in the September 15 issue. We apologize for the errors. Come and listen to Alternative Energy expert Dave Berger talk about energy and economic diversification at the Tribal Community Center on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A meal will be served at noon.
