Dear people of the Grand Ronde Community,
I was asked to write to the Smoke Signals and the Grand Ronde Tribe
on behalf of all the Native brothers here at the Federal Correctional
Institution in Sheridan.
We would like to invite any drum group, dancers and all interested
people to come and celebrate our annual pow-wow. We plan to enjoy a
day of dance and song from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28,
2006. We will also provide a feast of Buffalo Indian Tacos and other
refreshments.
All people and groups that can make it must have valid I.D. and
clear a state and federal record check. We need to get interested folks
cleared at least 30 days prior to the June 28 pow-wow.
Please give some thought to joining us at our pow-wow. Come cel
ebrate with your Northwest brothers and Tribal members from across
theU.S.A.
