Tribal Members, Elders Visit White
Wolf Sanctuary In Tidewater

tuary houses a total of six wolves,
three males and three females.
White, who has been working with
wolves for over 20 years, explains
that the behaviors and patterns of
the white wolf are very complex.
"The more we learn about the
white wolves," said White, "the
more we figure out that we don't

the white wolf from the gray wolf

Most of the wild white wolf popu
lation is in northern Canada. Laws
in Canada prohibit the release of
the white wolf. For this reason,
