NOTICE Monthly Tribal Council Meetings DATE TIME March 8 5 p.m. March 22 5 p.m. Dear Smoke Signals, The Portland Winter Hawks would like to relay how much we enjoyed the partnership with the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde during the 2004-05 hockey season. We made a lot of friends. It was terrific to see hundreds of members of the Tribe and especially your young people attend our games. The events that encouraged Winter Hawks' players to spend time with Tribal members and their families were very special. And, the posting of the colors for a Rose Garden game featuring Cheryle Kennedy, the council and the Tribal dancers was such special way to share your culture and heritage with more than 10,000 Winter Hawks' fans. We are hoping to have a chance to renew our partnership again, at some point. Our relationship was one of the best I have ever had the honor of facilitat ing. We wish all of your Tribal members and families, the Tribal Council, the Elders and all of your people best success. Dean Vrooman Sponsorship RelationBroadcasting Portland Winter Hawks Dear Smoke Signals, To all of you who in this time of tragedy and great loss have offered your prayers, donation, and support, I wish to personally extend my gratitude and thanks. Without persons like yourselves we would be hard put to pick up the pieces and face the days ahead. The love of everyone gives us courage to heal, the strength to hold on to faith and the power of prayer can not be denied. Hope can be such a fragile lifeline but it is strong in the face of such compassion and prayer, that if any of you should face a tragedy of such magnitude that you would have ten times what you have given in love, support and prayer. As the mother of Jeremy, Aunt to Danielle, Grandmother, and Great Aunt to the boys lost: Zachary, Ryan and Alexander. Thank you each and everyone, we could not do it alone. And should I fail to acknowledge even one please know that it is unin tentional. My loss is less than it would otherwise be because of the heart everyone has shared. Bless You All!!
