Dear Smoke Signals, I want to thank my family for all their love, guidance, support and prayers they gave me after I found the remains of my beloved husband, Bluto. He committed suicide in 2003. I won't ever forget the slow. motion that set in after coming upon that horrific scene. I withdrew from my family life for two years and they stood by me every step of the way! I want to thank Jeanne, Patsy, Gene, Mom, Ray, Aunt Norma and Marie, Tracy, Kelly, Dean and Sarah. God bless all of you! Love and prayers, Diane Harrison Dear Smoke Signals, I am writing to give my thanks to my fellow Tribal members and to the employees of the Tribe. I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with Tribal members both as patients and as friends this summer while I worked in our Tribe's Pharmacy. I was given the opportunity thanks to Julie Davis, Faith Goodman, clinic management and the Human Resources staff. I thank you all for working so hard. This summer I was fortunate to hear the stories told by our Elders to whom I hold great respect for. They have lived to share these stories with our younger generations and have fought for us to make this Tribe what it is today. To the clinic staff, it has been a truly a great experience working with all of you. You all worked so hard to provide the care our Tribal members need. To Mike Cook, I am grateful that I have found you my long lost brother; you have made me laugh since the moment I first saw you; to his brother Mark who will live forever in my heart and in the families. To my family for being a flood of support since the moment I was given life; without you I'd be lost. There are many I would love to express thanks to, but there are too many names to list. Just know that I am forever grateful for the time I spent with all of you this summer. Your friendships and the knowledge you have willingly shared with me I will never forget. My fellow Tribal members, I thank you. Sincerely your friend, Stacia Martin Roll 1653 All Tribal offices will be closed on Friday, November 11 in observance of Veterans' Day.
