Sixty-six Tribal families have already achieved their goal of homeownership this year, with an additional ten grants in the pro cess of closing. This leaves funding for approximately only ten more grants in 2004. Turning in or having an application on file with the Housing Au thority does not ensure that a grant will be made available to you. A grant cannot be reserved for a specific home purchase, until our of fice has received: 1) a completed application from a qualified Tribal member, 2) a letter of pre-approval from a lender, 3) verification of total household income and 4) a copy of a Purchase Agreement signed by both the buyer and seller to start the buying process.
