To our dear friends and family, It is with sincere and heartfelt appreciation that we would like to thank all of you for the many acts of kindness and love during the illness and recent passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Verna Larsen. Thank you for the beautiful floral arrangements, the memorial contri butions and cards. Also, a special thanks goes to all of you that prepared and served food after the service. We would also like to thank the Tribe for the many services provided to Mom for the past several years and especially during her illness and for her memorial service. Most importantly, thank you for all your prayers for our family. The family of Verna Larsen Dear Smoke Signals, I would like to let Tribal members know that Frank Grammer will be headed into training in June and will either head to Iraq or Afganistan at a later time. He is a Specialist Combat Engineer. Frank is the son of Eileen Quenelle and Frank Grammer, Sr. His wife is Marsha Bear Face-Grammer of Dallas. We all hope for his safe return. Thank you, Frank Grammer, Sr. Dear Smoke Signals, We want to thank the Tribe and staff for the beautiful plant that we received at the Celebration of Life Gathering for Aaron Olson who passed away on May 14, 2004. Thank you folks for being here for us. We love every one of you. Thanks again, The family of Aaron Olson Dear Ron and Peta, I just wanted to send you a note and tell you a big thanks for the great story you did on Zane and Brittany. Never mind that the names were confused it happens all the time at school, on the phone, etc. That's what comes of having divorced parents & new step-parents. The kids were embarrassed of the attention, but very proud that someone took the time to notice them and recognize their abilities. Normally you have to be a sports star to see anything written about you so this was very special to us all. Peta, as for you, thank you so much for taking the time to come to sym phony rehearsal and take photos of Brittany. She really had to give up a great deal to be a part of the symphony this year so it was important that she know someone recognized her sacrifices and talent. You did an excel lent job of taking your photos without much attention and we really ap preciate your time and talent. Thanks again to both of you! Debbie Taggart Tribal offices will be closed half a day (1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) on Friday, July 2 and all of Monday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day.
