Native American Week 2004
Performances by Grand Ronde Tribal members high
lighted a Native flute concert held at Spirit Mountain
to celebrate National Native American Week.

"Looking Wolf "Reibach (at left) plays songs off his new
album titled"One Heart."
Eagle Feathers Clad in a traditional white buckskin
dress, Grand Ronde Tribal member Jocelyn Kirk accompanies
Reibach with a feather dance, the purpose of which is to
honor Mother Earth.
T Blues By Choice Tribal member Steve Hudson
and his band, performed for the crowd at the concert. "Blues
by Choice" can also be seen on Thursdays at The Summit
Lounge at Spirit Mountain Casino.

Young Leaders On May 20-22, Youth Education held a youth conference promoting youth leadership. Evon Peter
(right) , former Chief of the Neetsaii Gwichin Tribe in Arctic Village, Alaska, attended and spoke on leadership among Native
youth. Members of the Title VII Indian Education Program also attended the three day event to help students with future
