This announcement is for children who are 3 years old by September 1, 2001 to children who are 5 years old (pre-kindergarten) and that are income eligible. Unfortunately, if there is not enough space available we will not be servicing non-Tribal Willamina or Sheridan Head Start children. Our first day of school is September 3, 2002. SMART People Wanted to Volunteer SMART (Start Making A Reader Today) is looking for volunteers to read with children at the Grand Ronde Elementary School. We are serv ing 30 students but we still have students that aren't being served. Be ing a volunteer consists of a one hour per week commitment through the end of April 2002. Grand Ronde has SMART on Mondays and Wednes days. We are especially light on Mondays and need volunteers.
