One of the changes we will be asking Tribal Council to look at is the possibility of modifying the Signature Verification form requirements to pro vide alternatives to the notarization requirement, such as providing a copy of the Tribal Identification Card issued by the Enrollment department or other forms of identification that will allow us to compare signa tures on the ballot and Signature Verification Forms. We will be bringing our proposed changes to Tribal Council for a possible first reading in February. After that we will be posting a series of notices for com ment in the upcoming editions of the Smoke Signals Publication. Participate in the development of your Tribal Government.
