Dear Tribal members,
I would like to thank each and everyone of you
who voted for me in the recent Tribal Council elec
tion and although I didn't win, I felt it was a pretty
good showing.
I wish all the new Tribal Council members the
best of luck in their new positions. I plan to get
more involved with the Tribe and its government
in the upcoming year as well as trying again for
Tribal Council.
Sincerely,
Leona Jeffers

Dear Tribal members,
It is with appreciation that I offer this letter of
thanks for those who voted and took part in our
recent Tribal Council elections. Our individual
Tribal ballot does count and assures that our Tribal
needs are represented and provides guidance to
how our Tribe's future is shaped. I took an oath
to uphold the laws of the Tribe and to represent
the needs of our members, I intend to fulfill this
obligation to the best of my ability. I look forward
to meeting each of you as you attend the General
Council or Tribal Council meetings.
With warm regards,

The Election Board would like to extend a spe
cial thank you to all who assisted in our quest for
addresses for the undeliverable absentee ballots.
Ila Dowd was especially helpful along with her
friend Bonnie Tom in providing leads on people
who were associated with and related to members
who did not have the correct updated address in
Enrollment's Teams system. Robert Schmid was
able to provide us several leads. Together united,
we were successful.
People like you make our hearts sing.
Thank you so very much.
