JULY 15, 2000 11 ' 7 Grand Meadows Flag Dedication A flagpole was dedicated at the Tribe's Grand Meadows Manufactured Home Park on Friday, July 6. The Grand Ronde Veterans Color Guard presented the flag while local drum group " All Nations" played throughout the ceremony. Elder Housing seeking artist The Grand Ronde Tribal Housing Authority requests proposals for the design, con struction and installation of four artistic renditions to be mounted to the face of four housing structures in its new Elder Housing Community in Grand Ronde. Each compo sition must be designed for an area of approximately 400 sq. ft. and depict the wildlife name of its corresponding street. Interested respondents must be experienced on large scale, able to give similar project references and carry required insurance. The show Gaston appeared on featured guests that don't feel beautiful and take extreme measures to make themselves feel beautiful. Gaston, the only guest to be selected from the west coast, traveled to New York in early June for the taping of the show. "Sally really does try to help people," Gaston says, "I still keep in contact with some of the show's assistants." Gaston received V.I. P. treatment from limo rides, to all expense paid meals to first class plane rides. Also while in New York, Gaston visited Time Square, Central Park, the Statue of Liberty and the studio where the taping of David Letterman Show takes place. Jeffers family reunion: Aug. 13 You are all invited to the Jeffers Family Reunion on Sunday, August 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The reunion will be held at Fern Ridge Lake, Orchard Pt.
