He has performed and spoke throughout all of Native Country, moti vating and encouraging Native youth. LITEFOOT remains committed to upholding his status as a positive role model for all Native youth. Before his concert, Litefoot will talk about youth issues of today. LITEFOOT'S message to youth has been consistent: be proud of your heritage; get an education; stand strong and unite; stay away from gangs and violence; stay away from alcohol and drugs. This is a family community evening. Join us for dinner before the concert. Autograph signing and merchandise sales will be available after the concert. Parents are welcome to stay for the entire event. During the concert, refreshments and snacks will be served in a social area for parents who wish to stay. These positions are designed and funded for the purpose of providing enhanced opportu nities for youth andor students. Youth crew projects may include trail and park maintenance, native tree and plant plantings, forest inventory, or other natural resource and community projects. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 19-24 years of age and reside in either Yamhill or Polk County. Expe rience in the proper use of hand tools. Must be in good physical condition and be able to work in rugged outdoor terrain. Experience in natural resources related work preferred. REQUIREMENTS: Must furnish their own work boots. A valid Oregon driver's license and safe driving record. Must successfully complete pre employment background check and drug test. Youth Crew Member $6.50hour. Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:30 Approximately 8 weeks starting June 2000 DUTIES: Work as a member of a six person sum mer youth work crew. Youth crew projects may include trail and park maintenance, native tree plantings, forest inventory work, or other natural resource and community projects. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 16-19 years of age and reside in either Yamhill or Polk County. Must have the ability or experience to safely and prop erly use hand tools.
