Tillamook, is the Tribes' new Housing Program Direc
tor. Leno began working for the Tribe in June of this
year and has been busy prioritizing the housing program

we are making ground and I'm happy about that," said
Leno.
After graduating from Willamina High School, Leno
worked as a logger before becoming an apprentice
plumber. After achieving his certificate of qualification
for plumbing Leno worked in Alaska from 1983 to 1989
before coming to work for the Tribe.
Leno's main job responsibilities include accepting
housing applications from clients and talking to them to
assess their degree of need. He also checks each job to
see that the work is being done correctly as stated in the
work contract. Leno also helps Tribal members with
home purchases.
Leno lives in Willamina with his family; wife Tammy,
daughters Brianna (10), Brandy (8), and sons Bradley
(6) and Brett (5), is proud to be a member of the
Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. "I feel very
privileged to work for my Tribe and I will always try to
do the best job that I can," said Leno. "I enjoy talking
to and getting to know the people that I'm helping It
gives me a feeling of accomplishment."
