I would like to take this opportunity to say "thank you" for voting for my logo. My interpretation of my logo is that Spirit Mountain has always been a symbol and a historic landmark of the Grand Ronde's to me, and the five eagle feathers represent the five major, remaining tribes, the Calapooia, Rogue River, Umpqua, Chinook, and Tillamook. My Grandfather, Harry W. Jones, was a full-blood Molel, a band of the Calapooia' s. Thanks again for choosing my logo, and thereby bestowing this honor on me. I appreciate it. My thanks also, to Fred Cooper for the $50.00 prize donation. Roger Harrison A special thank you to Frank Stongel for the Eagle wall placques he donated to the Tribe at the Affiliated Tribes of the Northwest Conference. They are hanging in the Council Room at the Tribal office. Thank you to those of you who helped clean up after the March General Meeting. PLEASE NOTICE Due to Easter, the General Meeting date has been changed to the 14th of April. As announced at the last General Meeting, our Historian, Dr. Barbara Lane, of Victoria B.C. will be attending this meeting.
