ENROLLMENT Cheryl Carl the Enrollment Clerk just returned from a much needed vacation, and has been very busy tabulating enrollment forms to enter into The Demographic Profile she is working with Northwest Consultants Inc. gathering additional data for them to process. In tabulating the forms there are alot of forms returned not completely filled out. Please complete them as near as possible. The information on these forms are very important in the long range planning of the tribe in the areas of healthcare, education benefits and housing needs of our Tribal Members. We can only document the information that we recieve back from our Tribal Members. Cheryl Carl Enrollment Clerk COMMUNITY ORGANIZER Kathryn has also returned from a needed vacation, even on vacation Kathryn returned with letters of support from organizations, one of them from the Umatilla Tribe. Kathryn has logged many miles informing schools, organizations and, gather ing letters of support for our endeavors. Kathryn Harrison Community Organizer THE OFFICE STAFF, has submitted the necessary paperwork for the three month extension from the Administration for Native Americans involving an-1 additional $15,000.00. The 15 month program will end November 30, 1982. The Tribe will then enter into the second year continuation grant period. The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde has informally recieved news that the campaign for Human Development has awarded $30,000.00 to the three tribes of Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Indians, Coos and Cow Creek. A proposal request has been submitted to the Earl Chiles Foundation for the continuation and expansion of the Agricultural Project to implement as a source of income for the tribe. The pilot project provided by the Earl Chiles Foundation has been very successful. '
