Volume 1 May 18, 1981 MEMORIAL DAY POTLUCK Our Annual Memorial Day Potluck will be held Sunday, Kay 2.1$ t at 1:30 p.m. at the Grand Sonde Grade School. Guest speakers include Don Wharton, Elizabeth Furse and Kandy Harrison with the Oregon Legal Service - Native American Program. Topics to be discussed are; the Termination Act of 1954 and the impact it has had on our tribe, and a progress update on our Restoration. They will be available to answer any quos- tions Tribal members may have on either subject. The Tribal Council would like to welcome everyone to the Potluck to get re-acquainted and visit with those you haven't seen since last years Potluck. Our Memorial Day Potluck has always been one of our largest tribal gatherings and we sin cerely hope this year will prove to be the largest yet. Hanitcii miga yuhwa!
