Show moving on in early September Notes Portraits in Red: Missing and Murdered Indigenous People will be on display at the Museum at War m Springs for another couple of weeks. The exhibit, featuring works by artist Nayana LaFond, will be moving on The Northwest Tribal Food Sovereignty Coalition Annual Gathering is Tuesday through Thursday, September 3-5 at the Heritage University in Toppenish, Washington. All are welcome to the two days of inspiring knowledge keepers, tasty foods, and com- munity building. This year’s gathering will focus on tradi- tional foods and practices by providing hands-on work- shops. Registration is free. Elsewhere: A parenting class meets each Wednesday morning from 11 a.m. until noon at Warm Springs Behavioral Health. The artist with some of her work. in early September. The Thirty-First Annual Tribal Member and Youth Art Exhibit will be coming up in the fall, dates to be an- nounced.
