Highway work north of Warm Springs
Expect delays on Highway
26 north of Warm Springs,
as the Oregon Department
of Transportation is working
on a road construction
project.
The $3.25 million
project—between mileposts
99 and 103—will take a few
months to complete.
The work includes repav-
ing that stretch of the high-
way. The existing pavement
will be ground out and new
asphalt put down on the
roadway and shoulders.
Signs will be upgraded as nec-
essary.
During construction, mo-

Occasional lane closures

lays up to 20 minutes.
There will be limited du-
ration road closures be-

tween the hours of 1 and 3
p.m. on various Tuesdays
through Thursdays.
These closures will be

six closures will be permit-

ruary.
The project is expected
to wrap up in May.
Where traffic is routed
through or around the work
zone, pedestrians, including
those with disabilities, will
also be provided routes
through or around the work
zone.
The construction contrac-

the improvements will ex-

and make the wearing sur-
