The $3.25 million project—between mileposts 99 and 103—will take a few months to complete. The work includes repav- ing that stretch of the high- way. The existing pavement will be ground out and new asphalt put down on the roadway and shoulders. Signs will be upgraded as nec- essary. The construction contrac- tor is Laduke Construction of Medford. ODOT says the improvements will ex- tend the life of the roadway and make the wearing sur- face safer for the traveling public.
