Museum joins Blue Star
The Museum At Warm
Springs is one of more than
2,000 museums across
America to offer free admis-
sion to military personnel and
their families this summer.
The museum made the
announcement last week to
launch of the Blue Star Mu-
seum Program.
In collaboration with the
National Endowment for the
Arts, Blue Star Families, the
Department of Defense and
other museums in the U.S.,
the Museum at Warm Springs
will offer free admission to
the nation’s active duty mili-
tary personnel and their fami-
lies.
The Blue Star Program
provides military families an
opportunity to enjoy the
nation’s cultural arts and mu-
seums, a wonderful educa-
tional experience. The Blue
Camp Counselors
Warm Springs is
hosting the CRITFC
Salmon Camp this
July, and the commis-
sion is hiring camp
counselors. They are
seeking two female and
two male counselors.
They will be required
to attend staff training
on July 17 and be avail-
able for the entire camp
July 18-22. For a full
list of the position de-
tails, job requirements
and to apply visit:

June 10 is the

rial Day Weekend and lasts
till Labor Day Weekend.

gram is available to any

tion Common Access Card
(CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID
Card (Dependent ID), or a
DD Form 1173-1 ID Card,
which includes active duty
military-Ar my, Navy, Air
Force, Marines, Coast Guard,
the National Guard and Re-
serve as well as U.S Public
Health Ser vice Commis-
sioned Corps, NOAA Com-
missioned Corps, and up to

ployed, you may visit the
museum. If your spouse is
not deployed but can’t visit,
you may still visit the museum
through the Blue Star pro-
gram. Just bring one of the
required Identification cards
listed.
“We are happy to be a part
of the Blue Star Museum
program,” said Debbie
Stacona, museum develop-
ment officer. “It’s a mean-
ingful way to express our
thanks to our service mem-
