Page 14 Spilyay Tymoo, Warm Springs, Oregon June 8, 2016 Museum joins Blue Star The Museum At Warm Springs is one of more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admis- sion to military personnel and their families this summer. The museum made the announcement last week to launch of the Blue Star Mu- seum Program. In collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and other museums in the U.S., the Museum at Warm Springs will offer free admission to the nation’s active duty mili- tary personnel and their fami- lies. The Blue Star Program provides military families an opportunity to enjoy the nation’s cultural arts and mu- seums, a wonderful educa- tional experience. The Blue Camp Counselors Warm Springs is hosting the CRITFC Salmon Camp this July, and the commis- sion is hiring camp counselors. They are seeking two female and two male counselors. They will be required to attend staff training on July 17 and be avail- able for the entire camp July 18-22. Star Program began Memo- rial Day Weekend and lasts till Labor Day Weekend. The free admission pro- gram is available to any bearer of a Geneva Conven- tion Common Access Card (CAC), a DD Form 1173 ID Card (Dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID Card, which includes active duty military-Ar my, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, the National Guard and Re- serve as well as U.S Public Health Ser vice Commis- sioned Corps, NOAA Com- missioned Corps, and up to five family members. If your spouse is de- ployed, you may visit the museum. If your spouse is not deployed but can’t visit, you may still visit the museum through the Blue Star pro- gram.
