This is a S co tt and Squiemphen Family Me morial rodeo. The action begins at 1 p.m. daily. Admission is $5 (6 and under free). The rodeo grounds are located 21 miles so u th o f T he Dalles, eight miles north o f the old Tygh Valley rodeo grounds on High way 197. Special events include junior steer riding, junior barrels, junior breakaway, m utton bustin’, wild colt These young men representing the tribes won the National Indian Athletic Association Basketball Championship in Sacramento on May 4. This is in regard to the Zone 6 platform and hook and line fishery. The tribes will allow com mercial sales o f Zone 6 plat fo rm and h o o k and line caught fish with the follow ing rules. T his will apply through July 31, 2014. (Fall season rules beginning Au gust 1 will be set later). T he area is all o f Z one 6. Gear: H oopnets, dip nets, and hook and line. Allowable sales: Salmon, steelhead, shad, walleye, carp, catfish, bass, and yellow perch may be sold or kept for sub sistence. Sturgeon betw een 43-54 inches fo rk length in T he Dalles and Jo h n Day pools may be retained only for sub sistence use.
