Rare feat from 3-point range
Abby Scott achieved a rare
feat in January, tying an all-
tim e N C A A D iv isio n I

State. Abby, a 6-1 sophomore,

In the opening minutes o f
the hom e game against Chi
cago State, Abby hit a long 3-
point shot, which proved to
be the first o f many.
By the end o f the evening
she had made eleven 3-point
ers, sco rin g 36 p o in ts —
breaking the school record
and the Western Athletic Con
ference record.
This also tied the NCAA
Ipivision I Women’s record,
i Abby is a 2011 graduate
o f Madras High School. H er
father is James Scott.
For the 2013-14 season,
through last week, Scott was
averaging 26.3 m inutes p e r
game, third m ost on the team.
