T he $800 million G rato n R esort & Casino — ow ned by th e F e d e ra te d I n d ia n s o f G rato n R anchería —will fea ture Las Vegas-style gam bling w ith 3,000 slo t a n d v id eo p o k e r m ach in es, black jack and o th er card games just 50 miles n o rth o f the city. “We’ve built it for conve nience, access and accessibil ity, and then we’ve added qual ity to a level the m arket has n o t seen b e fo re ,” said Jo e H asson, the casino’s general manager.
