day, July 11 for a total o f 3.5
days.

Zone 6.
Gear is restricted to. 7-inch
m esh or larger. Allowable
sales are chinook, sockeye,
steelhead, shad, walleye, carp,
c atfish , b ass, and yellow
perch. T hese fish may be
sold or kept for subsistence
purposes. Sturgeon may only
be kept for subsistence use.
Legal-size sturgeon are b e­
tween 38 and 54 inches fork
length in the Bonneville Pool
and between 43 and 54 inches
fork length in The Dalles and
John Day pools.
R iver m o u th and dam
sanctuaries applicable to gill
nets are in effect fo r this fish­
ery. T he' Spring Creek N a­
tional Fish Hatchery sanctu­
ary is n ot in effect for sum­
mer season fisheries. Sales o f
fish caught during the open
