We are striving to make o ut powwow feel authentic, so th at our guests will feel welcome and at ease. We are getting a jump start now, so that we will be ready for the powwow. We, as N ative American people,, would like to ask if there is a Warm Springs tribal member out there who would be wilting to volunteer one day a m onth to come in here at D RCI and be our spiritual advisor. This is so that we can practice our religion. We also would tike to ask the Warm Springs com m unity if they can find it in their hearts to d onate beadw ork supplies and traditional foods for our powwow that is coming up soon, and in the years ahead. We would greatly appreciate it. We/Native inmates incar cerated here at DRCI know that we have gone astray and are now paying our debts to society, and are looking for ward to living our lives for the better o f ourselves and for our families.
