Dancers get new Pendleton regalia

the fabric, and donated
her time to the project. For
the sewing she had help

Health Education Team,
and other volunteers and
family m em bers o f the
youth dancers.-

free and refreshments are
available. The Film Center is
in the Rodriguez Annex next
to the Library in Madras.
The Madras High School
FFAAlumni Donkey Basket­
ball Game will be held on Fri­
day April 5 at 7 p.m. at the
High School. All families are
invited to this fundraiser event!

outdoor market survey
The Warm Springs com­
munity will have an outdoor
market,on Fridays starting in
late May or in June, and last­
ing until around September.
The Warm Springs Com­
munity Action" Team is cur­
rently conducting a survey to
fulfill an aspect ,of the grant
th at has made possible the
outdoor farmers market.
The survey is being con­
ducted this month, injuly and
in September. You m ust be a
resident o f the community to
participate.

in regard to general eating
habits and food purchases for
you and your extended fam­

Action Team healthy foods

ceiv ed a g ra n t fro m th e
USDA to assist with the out­
door market for this year and
in 2014- O ther groups on the
reservation are contributing
to the project.
The USDA grant requires
the action to conduct a sur­
vey before the outdoor mar­
ket, during the market, and
afterward. “The purpose is
to show that the grant is ac­
tually helping the community,”
Nelles said.

The Museum at Warm
Springs will host the Veritas
Concert Choir at 2:30 p.m.
The Choir is from Newberg
and has won the OSAA state
choir competition two years in
a row. Everyone is invited to
come enjoy the songs, the
concert is free.

January, asked participants to
think about their dreams and
to make a plan to achieve
them. Today there will be a
paper lantern launch begin­
ning at 6 p.m. Symposium
participants and others are

lantern launch - you just need
