T h e state B oard o f E d u cation approved the ban last M ay after m onths o f passion a te a n d e m o tio n a l d e b a te about tolerance and tradition. I t re q u ire s O r e g o n tea m s such as the R oseburg Indians to com e up w ith a new m as cot by July 2017, o r risk los ing state funding.
