D ear family, friends and
relatives,

team and myself, I would
like to take this opportu­
nity to thank everyone for
their support.
We walked with a team
but o f Indianapolis,- Indi­
ana, but we had six people
from the Warm Springs/
M ad ra s/Y a k a m a
area
walking, so we had our own
van.'
We also had a lo t o f
people on and o ff the ros­
te r, b u t eventually, we
ended up with the follow­

Health officials consider air-
quality to be very unhealthy
w hen measurements o f fine
particles reach 120 micrograms
per cubic meter, and hazard­
ous at 250 micrograms: The air
in Redmond was at 127 mi­
crograms in late September. In
Sisters, it was above 1,000 for
four days— a level that as­
tounds air-quality experts. Ex­
perts say fine particles can pen­
etrate deep into the lungs and
cause damage.

the next Special Trustee for
American Indians.
