Pursuing acting career in L. A.
D e m e tria Smith, a smiling
and personable young lady, is
very determined in her pur
suit o f a career in acting.
Last week, Demetria and
her family moved to Los A n
geles, so Demetria could be
closer to acting opportunities.
Just 15 years old, she has
been building her acting port
folio for the past few years.
H er m anaging company,
Global O ne Ltd., is based in
Los Angeles, on Wilshire Bou
levard. T he family m oved

ing calls. Dem etria’s m other
Pam will also be working for
the agency.
Demetria is now 15. She
became interested in acting at
a very young age, “w hen I
was 4 or 5, watching Disney
shows,” she says.
H er long-term goal is to
be in a m ovie. “I th in k it
would be fun to be in a scary
movie,” Demetria says.
The Global O ne agency is
based in Los Angeles but has
offices in South Korea, and
in Texas. They have alliances
with the Asian entertainment
market.
Demetria is the only N a
tive American on the agency
roster. By her looks she could
also take roles as an Asian or

The relationship has been
