I would like to take this
time to thank family and
friends, and the commu

all the support I received
in my goal in becoming the
reigning Miss Pi-Ume-Sha
2012-2013!
It’s such an honor to
represent our people and
our tribe as Royalty!
My most recent travel
was to the well-known
Pendleton Round-Up. I
had never been to that
powwow before.
With my family’s help I
was able to participate this
year in the Traditional
dance contest, also the
Swan Dance.
I had never tried that
dance before b u t just
wanted to give it a try, and
found a team that needed
a dancer.
I didn’t tell them it was
my first time trying that
particular dance.
I enjoyed myself and
will be back to participate
again next year. I also be.-
