This is an other step forward on your journey and no m atter how alone you may feel at times, you will always belong to a rare class. N o w / you Spilyay will find your Speaks self w ondering w hy c e rta in things were never taught in school. “Popularity”, for example, doesn’t or shouldn’t exist out side o f high school. The quiet student in the corner will find this com fort ing, but the outspoken who are used to having their say will be alarmed. Because in society, b o th voices o f the meek and proud will be equal. You shouldn’t have to call hom e to ask perm ission for an y th in g ever again. B u t m ore and m ore, hopefully, you’ll begin to ask permission from yourself. A nd som e times, you will find your own conscience even m ore strict than your parents ever were. Y our egg has h a tc h e d , your feathers are developed, and your wings are fully func tional. You discover flight. B ut never forget, just as you can soar, you can also crash. “Stop just to take a m o m e n t to b re a th e ,” D a n n i Katchia H erkshan says. “Be proud o f this m om ent. Be p ro u d o f your friends and k now th a t your trib e cel ebrates with you!” “ ¡Hopefully there will be a] positive roadm ap estab lish e d fo r y o u ,” D a n n y Martinez said. “We will need people to fill positions in the future... CPA to fire chiefs to general m anagers to police officers and so on. We are p ro u d o f all o f our gradu ates.” “Focus on direction. Let m a tu rity tak e o v e r , y o u r mind,” William Wilson said. “You can overcome any ob stacle then. I f you w ant to get married and make babies, wait until you’re sure th at’s w hat you want. B ut rem em ber, a youthful m ind is the key to y o u r F o u n ta in o f Y o u th tw en ty years fro m now.” C ongratulations! In 20 years, the M ost Likely to G et M arried could be divorced. Folks will have a hard time remembering their class song. A nd you m ight find yourself sitting beh in d a keyboard, proud o f and encouraging a new generation o f graduates. N ow fly!
