Spilyay Tymoo, Warm Springs, Oregon Heart Smart Dinner celebrating 19th year T he N ineteenth A nnual Heart Smart Dinner date hap pens this Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. It has been a longtime tra d itio n to have th e H e a rt Smart Dinner at the Agency Longhouse in Warm Springs to accommodate the over 300 community members who at tend every year. “Everyone is welcome to join us to eat a delicious H eart Smart meal prepared by C hef Michael Spaulding, seniors cooks and the tribal n u tritio n is t,” said K a t Spaulding, Heart Smart coor dinator. Summer Youth Work Program mandatory classes The Summer Youth Work Program will hold its first youth workshop on Wednes day, Feb. 29. The topic will be “communication.” The meeting will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Educa tion Building. There will be a Youth Work Program work shop on “finances” on Thurs day, March 1, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Education Build ing.
