Grandson Rabbit lived along the
Columbia River. Grandfather

If you don’t obey, the water
monster will swallow you up!

“ My Grandson went too far and

him up.”

Grandfather went near the waer
monster. He let the monster
swallow him up.

It was very dark in the
monster’s stomach so Grandfa
ther made a fire. It got light so
now he could see his Grandson

monster had eaten.

The wolf was very tired from his
work. So he lay down and fell
asleep.

The coyote still went ahead and
looked inside the bag.

When the wolf woke up he told
the Coyote. “ What have you
done?” You’ve let the stars
out!

Now everytime that you look up
into the sky, you will want to
