Jim m y W esley Sr. o f Warm Springs passed away on February 9, 2009 at his residence o f natural causes. Mr. Wesley was born on August 17,1938 at Alfalfa to p a re n ts Joe an d Jenny Wesley. H e worked for BIA main tenance in the 1950s. H e also drove an activity school bus for the 509-J School District. Mr. Wesley graduated in 1954 from White Swan High School in W ashington. H e played football and basket ball. Jim boxed professionally for N orthw est States. After retirement he was called on to judge boxing bouts. Jim was a race horse jockey in the 1950s. In 1955 h e m arrie d Marceline Miller. They had th re e c h ild re n R o d reck Wesley, Malissa (deceased), and Jimmey Larry Wesley (de ceased). During his life he raised thor o u ghbred horses, and was a com m ercial fisherm an in the Northw estern states. He was a private contractor in m ainte- natice for the Housing D epart ment. Mr. Wesley started work for the Utilities D epartm ent, and worked for the department for many years, retiring in 2005. His life was dedicated in raising the grandchildren. He m arrie d N ed a B row n on D e c e m b e r 28, 1979 at Goldendale, Wash. Together they raised many children, Aurolyn S. Pinkum, Roger Stwyer, Henry Stwyer, Davis Stwyer, Arnold Stwyer (deceased), Wendell Greene, Eliza Greene RedHouse (de ceased), ad o p ted Jam ie F. Wesley, Wesley R edhouse Westeg, Lucinda Stwyer (de ceased), M artin a Stw yer, Curtis Dixon, Theo Greeny, Kayla Tewee, Marcal Tewee, Levi Frank, Melvin Tewee III, Heaven Stwyer, Ambros M eanus, Stanley M eanus, V esta M eanus, an d E liza Stwyer. Lucille Susan Williams o f Warm Springs passed away on February 10, 2009 at St. Charles Medical Center. She was 58. Mrs. Williams was born on July 23, 1950 to parents Evelyn Wesley and William Sam. She was married in Warm Springs o n D ecem b er 9, 2005 to Thomas Williams. Mrs. Williams was a lifetime resident o f Warm Springs, and a member o f the Confederated Tribes o f W arm Springs. She worked as a teacher for the Con fe d e ra te d T rib es o f W arm Springs. She is survived by her hus band Thomas o f Warm Springs; daughter Nellie Sam Tanewasha o f W arm Springs; b ro th e rs Leslie, Theron and Robert Sam Sr., all o f W arm Springs; sisters M arie L opez and Julie Sam, both o f Warm Springs, and three grandchil dren. D re ssin g c erem o n ies were held on Wednesday, February 11 at the Agency Longhouse. B urial w as h eld on Thursday, February 12 at the Agency Cemetery.
