My dad has been teaching
and coaching me in the realm
o f b aseb all since I was old
enough to throw a ball. H ere in
Columbus, I have been playing
baseball since I was 5 years old
for the G reater Westside Base
ball League.
T h e past few years I have
played baseball for my dad, and
o u r team has becom e a very
dom inant and competitive base
ball team in the Central O hio
area.

U.S. Specialty Sports Associa
tion (USSSA) National Tourna

York from June 13-19.
O ur fees ($850 per player in
addition to travel costs— food,

(SPAs), one to expand fiber op
tic capabilities and another to
rock a portion o f Charley Can
yon Road.

m ously passed a resolution to
approve a decision docum ent
fo r th e U p p er Beaver C reek
2010 T im ber Sale.
A project assessment, evalu
ating the sale’s impacts, had al
ready been released for tribal
m em ber com m ent and after a
30-day review the project was
approved as recom m ended by
the technical staff from N atu
ral Resources and Forestry.
T he U p p er Beaver Creek
2010 Tim ber Sale will target a
harvest volum e o f approxi
mately 27 million board feet of
timber. T he treatm ent area is
just under 2,500 acres in size.
