Ms. W ahnetah was bo rn o n S e p te m b e r 3, 1965 at C e n tra l O re g o n D is tric t Hospital in R edm ond to par ents K atherine K eo Jackson a n d th e la te W illiam W a h n e ta h o f C h e ro k e e , N o rth Carolina. Ms. W ahnetah worked as a dental clerk at the form er clinic, now the Family Re source Center. She was also a teacher’s aide at the Early Childhood E ducation Center, and she helped at Q uinn Park. She worked with RC Con struction on the sidewalks at the current clinic. S he d id sm all b e a d w o rk p ro jects, an d h elp ed w ith v a rio u s jo b s at th e Longhouse. Ms. W ahnetah enjoyed her time w ith friends and writing letters. Ms. W ahnetah is survived by h e r c h ild re n D e n ise Clements, Kayleen Clements and Jennifer Clements; Haley Wahnetah; Brandon T hom p so n ; A rle n e a n d D a m o n David; Charrise H eath; Azra Post and Jessica W ahnetah. M cKie A lfred Suppah, 1979-2008 M cK ie A lfred Suppah passed away on N ovem ber 1,2008. H e was 29. Mr. S up p ah was b o rn o n O c to b e r 11, 1979 at Yakima to p arents R oger Suppah and A nnie (Harry) Williams. Mr. Suppah was a life time resident o f W arm Springs and a m em ber o f the Confed erated Tribes. H e was attending college at the time o f his passing. Mr. Suppah is survived by his parents; brother G arrett Suppah Sr. o f O k la h o m a ; siste rs C a n d ic e S an a c h e o f Io w a , D eece S u p p ah o f W arm Springs, and Janice Suppah o f Portland. E lizabeth M arie Tom, 1945-2008 W arm Springs re sid en t Elizabeth Marie Tom passed away O ctober 27,2008 at St. C harles M edical C enter in Bend. She was 63. Ms. T om was b o rn May 31, 1945 a t T o p p e n is h , Wash., to parents Ellison and Evelyn (Dick) Schuster. Ms. Tom Was a lifetim e resident o f W arm Springs as well as an enrolled m em ber o f the C onfederated Tribes o f W arm Springs. She was e m p lo y e d as p re s c h o o l teacher for the W arm Springs H ead Start Program. She was a m em b er o f th e F irst B ap tist Church in Madras. Ms. T om is survived by her ch ild ren L izzie A n n G eo rg e F ra z ie r, o f W h ite S alm o n ; L ester Jim Begay o f M adras; C orbett Isaac Tom, Merlin D ean T om , and A m anda M eredith T o m all o f W arm S p rin g s; brothers Alvin Schuster, Elm er Schuster and William Schuster all o f W arm Springs; sisters Florine Lucille Schuster and Ida S c h u s te r b o th o f W arm S p rin g s; a n d n u m e ro u s grandchildren. H er parents and her son Jimm y G eorge preceded her in death. A private family dressing cerem ony and funeral ser vices were held Wednesday, O ctober 29, 2008 at 10 a.m. a t M ad ras F ir s t B a p tis t Church. Burial services were held at D ry Creek Cemetery following church services. M ilton Holliday, 1930-2008 W arm Springs resid en t M ilton Holliday passed away at his h o m e O c to b e r 20, 2008. H e was 78. Mr. Holliday was bo rn to parents Benjamin and Lena (Smith) Holliday on April 27, 1930. H e m arrie d B uckie Teem an in W arm Springs. Mr. Holliday was an en rolled m em ber o f the C on federated Tribes o f W arm Springs and a lifetime resi- dent. H e se rv e d in th e U n ite d States A rm y during the K orean War. Mr. Holliday was employed as a logger all o f his life. H e was a m em ber o f the W arm Springs Presbyterian Church. H e enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting and camping. Mr. Holliday is survived by h is w ife B u ck ie o f W arm Springs; his daughter Beatrice L o p e z o f H ills b o ro ; his brother Sherm an Holliday o f W arm S p rin g s; h is n in e g ra n d c h ild re n , 23 g re a t grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. I w ould like to take the time to thank all my friends and family w ho attended my little boy’s baby shower on O ct. 15. I would also like to thank the Senior Staff (Lilly), w ho made it possible to use the Senior building. I had a lot o f fun and hope fully everyone else did too. I haven’t been around my friends and family like that in a long time and I feel very thankfuj ,for those m om ents and to have my children there too just topped the m om ent off.
