She was born January 21, 1934 to parents Rebekah Anthony and Lester Kurip on the Northern Ute Indian Res ervation in W hite Rocks, Utah. Ella was a tribal member o f the N orthern Ute Tribe where she was fluent in the Ute language and had loved to go to the Sundances and Bear dances. Ella has always loved and missed her family and people very much. The livelihood of her up bringing was shared w ith many especially with her chil dren and all her grandchil dren because this is where she has spoken o f m any childhood m em ories sur rounding family, ’life,- tradi tions, language, values, and customs. Ella met George Aguilar Sr. at Tacoma, Wash., and they married on .December 25, 1955. Ella and George had cel ebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary on Christmas Day 2007. Preceding Ella in death are her parents, one son Antonio “Tony” A guilar, and one granddaughter Geralyn Suppah Aguilar. Ella leaves behind her hus band of 52 years, 3 sons Easton (Tina) Aguilar, Ralph (Lucille) Aguilar and George (Vangie) Aguilar, Jr. and one daughter Rebekah (Nathan) Main; as well as 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren all of Warm Springs. She also raised several chil- dren/grandchildren throughout her lifetime. Ella leaves behind nephews Alonzo Jim I, Eddie (Carleen) Kurip, Aaron Kurip o f Utah, and niece Eileen Standing Rock o f M ontana, several gran d nephews and grandnieces also o f Utah. In Ella’s early years she loved to visit with family and friends, sew, beadw ork, teach bible study to young children and attend church services. Throughout Ella’s lifetime, she has shared with family and friends her zest for life and her love o f God - this came through giving, caring, listening, and praying for those who were in a time of need. In the latter years she loved serving the Lord and being with family, especially her grandchildren-teaching the young one’s o f G o d ’s ministry. She served the Lord Jesus Christ for over 50 years and was a Prayer Warrior that was blessed with the power of God, that she raised the dead through the name o f Jesus Christ o f Nazareth. Ella has left us with the Love and Peace o f Christ Jesus and the Fruits o f the Spirit. She had many, many friends o f all ages who will miss her dearly, as will the family. We know one day we will meet again in heaven, be cause Jesus said so. Her journey to Heaven is an eternal reward where we know she is within the safe embrace o f the Lord, fam ily, and friends.
