T he family would like to Dear friends and family: I have just received a once- in-a-lifetime opportunity this July to represent the United States on a national team called Coast to Coast Baseball. I was selected from among hundreds of. other players who a tten d e d n atio n al try -o u ts, where I was invited to travel to Puerto Rico. It is going to be an incredible opportunity for me and I can hardly wait! I’m confident it will put me one step closer to achieving my dream o f one day earning a college baseball scholarship and degree at a top-flight college. While in Puerto Rico, I’ll have the chance to train w ith top coaches, compete against some o f the best amateur teams in their country, and visit incred ible sights. So, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am 14 years old and have lived in Warm Springs all o f my life. My parents are Rebekah and Nathan Main. My m aternal grandparents are George and Ella Aguilar of W arm Springs. My paternal grandparents are Jerom e and Nellie Main of Hays Montana. Baseball Is my passion and I have been playing baseball in organized sports such as Little League, Little League All-Stars, and O regon Travel Baseball. The primary positions that I play are pitcher and second base. W hen I ’m not on the dia mond, you can find me on the basketball court playing for the school, playing on the Central Oregon Basketball Organization th an k the h u n ters and also Natural Resources for the meat and fish. We would also like to thank the Ft. Duchesne Ute Tribe for their financial and emotional support as well their generous funeral grant to assist with their Tribal Elder and loved one. T h an k you to th e Ft. Duchesne. Ute Tribal Council members and many others who also given flowers to the family. Thank you to all the family and friends who assisted and supported our family during our loss. The journey our family from Ft. Duchesne made to Warm Springs and back again to Utah was a safe one but they have also extended their thanks and appreciation to. the people o f Warm Springs who accepted and loved their Aunt, Ella Rose as one o f their own. Letters of apology I am regretfully sorry for my actions on Saturday, Dec. 29 by being under the influ-. ence o f alcohol. T hat’s my bad. I would like to apologizte to my mom and family for the em barrassment I have caused them. I love you guys. I will try hard not to.let it happen again. I was not in the right state o f mind, being drunk and carrying a knife. I have been getting some help for my drinking so l may better myself and put myself on the right path. Jerald Cook. I would like to apologize for endanger ing a person. I apologize to the Confederated Tribes. I am seek ing help for my actions. Suzie I am sorry I broke tribal law on April 12,2007 by driv ing under the influence of in toxicants and recklessly driv ing through West Hills. I did not intend on putting myself through such embarrassment and humiliation. I apologize to my mom for driving drunk in her vehicle. I am doing my best to better myself as a tribal member, friend, and family member by making up for my actions. Della Charley. Squiemphen. I also want to say that I’m trying to make changes in I am writing this letter of apology to the community of Warm Springs for the wrong choice I had made back in November. As you can see, I ’m pretty serious about sports and I have my heart set on one day earn ing a college scholarship at a top school. I also take my schoolwork ju st as seriously as I do atheletics, which is something I am very proud of. I am an eighth grader at Jefferson County Middle School in Madras, where I maintained solid school attendance and made H onor Roll throughout the year. I am writing to ask you to actions. Plus a huge apology to my future wife C.L.S., and her kids who I love too. I would like to apologize to my brothers, sisters and friends and anyqne else I’ve offended during my drunkenness.
