Suzy M acy, Fire Manage ment | On b eh alf o f the Warm Springs Victims of Crime Ser vices I want to thank Frances Allen for his donation of deer meat to our department This generous donation is greatly appreciated. We plan to use half the donated meat at a December Women’s Support Group meeting, and the other half will go into the deer meat chili lunch that will follow our December crime victims com pensation claim training at the VOCS office. Any woman who would like to share or participate in a Sup port Group meeting can come the VOCS Office Tuesday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. for a small meal and meeting. A kind gesture such as a do nation of a traditional food can mean a lot to tribal community member victims who are af fected by the stress of domes tic violence, sexual assault, or other abuse. VOCS appreciates all of the donations that we received in 2007, which included clothes, stuffed animals, blankets, per sonal care bags, and traditional foods.
